Flattening the Curve: UM researchers launch province’s first clinical trial to combat COVID-19

University of Manitoba researchers announced Manitoba's first clinical trial to test whether a malaria drug can prevent people from contracting COVID-19. They are urging volunteers from Manitoba, Quebec, and Alberta to step forward to participate in this study if they meet the criteria. This collaborative study is being conducted through the University of Manitoba, along with researchers at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, the University of Alberta and the University of Minnesota.
