Date: This is not a timed event.

Description

A research collaboration between the University of Manitoba and Deer Lodge Centre aims to improve the tools therapists use to assess falls risk. Dr. Kathryn Sibley, Director of CHI's Knowledge Translation platform and assistant professor in the U of M's department of Community Health Sciences, will lead the project to assess an existing tool called the Mini BESTTest.

In January, Sibley and her team will start training physiotherapists at Deer Lodge Centre to conduct the project, which is funded in part by a grant from the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.
