Overview
Everyone has heard that “data analysis is 80% loading, cleaning, reshaping and otherwise preparing your data for analysis”. In this 3-day, hands-on workshop, you will learn more advanced techniques that will make your data wrangling easier and more effective. Picking up where our R for Absolute Beginners ended, we will focus on effective techniques for preparing your data to be easy to analyze. Specific topics include wrangling data with missing values, calculating derived fields in your data, joining multiple pieces of data together.

Learning Objectives
• Practice loading, cleaning and reshaping data originally collected and stored in .CSV and Excel files.
• Learn the basic principles of “tidy data” and how following these principles will make your data analysis work much easier.
• Write scripts for a basic data analysis project from beginning to end – load, clean, prep, summarize, plot, and analyze.

Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy, cancellations made more than 21 days before the event will be issues a refund less a 20% administration fee. Any cancellations made with less than 21 days’ notice will not be issued a refund.
