Presenter: Dr. Dylan MacKay

Dr. Dylan MacKay is a nutritional biochemist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. Dylan’s research focuses on clinical trials and inter-individual variability. His is interested in how lifestyle can impact chronic disease risk and whether lifestyle intervention strategies can be made more effective through personalization. Dylan is also very interested in how to appropriately translate scientific findings to combat misinformation, especially on the internet and social media. It has been said that Dylan spends too much time on twitter, he would say it is part of his job.
