Patient & Public Engagement in Health Research Lunchtime Learning Series

The Patient and Public Engagement Lunchtime Learning Series will introduce participants to the principles of patient and public engagement in health research. Participants will learn how to build meaningful partnerships between researchers and people with lived experience that inform decision-making about the health research to improve clinical and practice outcomes.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the theoretical and practical principles of inclusive, authentic, and meaningful engagement of people with lived experience in health research
- Use developed skills and provided resources to build an engagement strategy in health research
- Describe different participatory techniques and approaches for safe and inclusive environments

Please join us in-person or by webinar. Registration is encouraged but in-person walk-ins and last minute webinar registrations are also welcome.

The CHI Patient and Public Engagement Lunchtime Learning Series is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
