Description


The Patient and Public Engagement in Health Research Lunchtime Learning Series will introduce participants to the principles of patient and public engagement in health research. Participants will learn how to build meaningful partnerships between researchers and people with lived experience that inform decision-making about the health research to improve clinical and practice outcomes.

12-1 pm - Room 474 Chown Classroom, 753 McDermot Avenue

Please join us in-person or by webinar. Registration is encouraged but in-person walk-ins and last minute webinar registrations are also welcome.

Learning Objectives

After the presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe barriers to meaningful and inclusive patient and public engagement
  • Describe methods to address barriers to engagement
  • Develop an inclusive budget for patient and public engagement
