Description


The George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and Rady Faculty of Health Sciences College of Nursing are pleased to partner together for this workshop.

When: May 28th-29th, 2019 • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Where: 89 Curry Place, Room 218 Helen Glass Centre for Nursing, University of Manitoba

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able:

  1. To become familiar with a variety of knowledge synthesis products, including: scoping reviews, overviews of systematic reviews, systematic reviews of observational studies and qualitative reviews.
  2. To understand the role and value of systematic reviews in health care decision making from a clinical, health policy and health system perspective.
  3. To understand the process of conducting both a qualitative and quantitative systematic reviews – from inception to publication (preparing a review question, protocol, search methods, quality appraisals, data extraction forms, data management, analysis, reporting and updating).

Registration Cancellation Policy:

A registration refund will be made upon written request on or before May 20, 2019. A $35 administrative fee will be retained. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date.
