Team: Events, Training & News

May 16, 09:30 - May 17, 15:00, 2019

SAS is a powerful programming language used throughout academia and business. It offers a syntax-based environment that handles data management, graphics, simple and advanced statistical analyses, and reproducible workflows.

May 16-17, 2019 - 9:30 am - 3 pm

Room 474, Chown Building, 753 McDermot Avenue

This workshop is intended for those with training in basic statistics, but without any SAS experience. The goal is to provide participants with all the skills necessary to:

  • Import and clean slightly messy data;
  • Create variables and merge data;
  • Introduce programming loops and arrays;
  • Produce descriptive statistics and basic plots;
  • Perform common analyses such as t-tests and linear regression; and
  • Produce PDF report documents via the ODS delivery system.

There will be a hands-on component to the workshop for participants who bring their own laptops with SAS installed. This is encouraged, but not mandatory. Please see application link below.
