This presentation is aimed at clinical investigators and research staff who are looking for information about how to start a clinical research study or trial, what clinical trial tools and education are available and what services are offered by the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI).

Learning Objectives:
Following the presentation, participants will know:

  1. What tools and free educational courses are available for planning and conducting clinical studies involving human subjects
  2. Where to find, and how to access, these tools and courses
  3. What services CHI offers to facilitate clinical research

About the Speaker:
Connie Feschuk RN, BA, MScHS manages the CHI Clinical Trials Unit and assists with intake requests for CHI services. She brings over 30 years of nursing experience in acute care, blood services and clinical research. She has a Masters of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on research administration from George Washington University, a green belt in Lean Methodology, managed a Clinical Trials Unit for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and was the clinical lead for an electronic clinical documentation project.
