About the Speaker:
Laurie Ringaert, BSc., BMR-OT, MSc, holds degrees in Occupational Therapy & Community Health Sciences and has been involved with a variety of complex change initiatives ranging from health systems change, social determinants of health initiatives; built environment initiatives and healthy eating/active living initiatives.
She has actively lead research and evaluation that has lead to practice and policy change. She is passionate about knowledge translation, participatory action research; implementation science, developmental evaluation, quality improvement, complex systems change/innovation; collective impact facilitated through stakeholder engagement; and innovative leadership principles. Laurie is the Manager of the Knowledge Translation Platform at the Centre for Healthcare Innovation
