Announcement: CHI's Dr. Kathryn Sibley Awarded Canada Research Chair

Dr. Kathryn Sibley was awarded with a Canada Research Chair on December 9th by the Honourable Maryanne Mihychuk, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour on behalf of the Honourable Kristy Duncan, Minister of Science. Sibley is the new Canada Research Chair in Integrated Knowledge Translation in Rehabilitation Science. 

Sibley is a Knowledge Translation Scientist with the George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation and Assistant Professor in Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. The announcement took place at the University of Manitoba and saw two others named as CRCs and a total of $2.4 million in research funding announced. Sibley will receive $500,000 for research on improved rehabilitation services and care and improvements in the health-care system.
