The Centre for Healthcare Innovation is pleased to welcome the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Research and Evaluation Unit to our team. The Research and Evaluation Unit brings with itimportant expertise and relationships in the region that build on and strengthen CHI’s key platforms and collaborations.
Dr. Colleen Metge, Director of the WRHA Research and Evaluation Unit will highlight the Unit’s experience, including their expertise in critical appraisal, proposal development and evaluation and knowledge translation activities. She will describe how an embedded research unit supports evidence-informed decision making and the impact of programs of research on patient-oriented outcomes.
