Description


The Centre for Healthcare Innovation will host the KT Canada National Seminar Series throughout the 2015/2016 academic year. The next Round will feature Dr. Michel Labrecque:

Evaluation of Behavior Change Interventions to Increase the use of Pneumatic Otoscopy in Family Medicine:
A Pilot Randomized Trial

Thursday, October 8th from 11am-12noon

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the importance of conducting pilot study of complex behavior change intervention trial
  • To highlight the importance of long term follow-up in behavior change intervention
  • To discuss the lessons learned and the methodological challenges related to a larger trial

Dr. Michel Labrecque MD PhD (epidemiology) is a full professor from the Dept. of Family and Emergency Medicine at Laval University, Quebec City, Canada. He is a clinician researcher at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Centre and a member of KT Canada.
